Bel Viaggio Limited Lifetime Warranty

New Warranty Policy Effective for Purchases after 5/9/2024

Bel Viaggio Designs offers a FREE Limited Lifetime Warranty. 

This warranty is offered for all silver, gold and platinum jewelry set with moissanite, diamonds, and colored gemstones.  It is not offered for Cubic Zirconia, or Diamond Simulants.

Jewelry needs maintenance in order to protect the setting, moissanite, diamonds & gemstones. Your Limited Lifetime Warranty provides you with FREE service & general maintenance for the life of your jewelry. This includes bi-annual inspections and cleaning, re-sizing, prong repair, and rhodium plating.
The most common jewelry damage, by far, is from wear and tear. Jewelry can be damaged by activities such as exercising, cleaning, lifting heavy items and exposure to harsh chemicals. Common examples include:
  • Lost diamonds due to lifted, broken, or worn prongs, or rings were twisted (especially common with thin bands with small diamonds).
  • Metal Discoloration from exposure to chemicals, makeup, pools or hot tubs.
  • Misshaped rings from heavy lifting, impact, or years of wear.
  • Bent or smashed jewelry, including broken or scratched stones.

Wear and tear is not covered under Bel Viaggio Designs warranty. We recommend jewelry insurance.

What’s Not Covered: Bel Viaggio Designs will not cover wear and tear, accidental loss, theft, damage, abuse, or a complete replacement when maintenance can no longer be made on completely worn-out items. It is highly recommended that you obtain jewelry insurance to protect you from loss, theft, or damage.

Please note that to keep your Bel Viaggio Designs Limited Lifetime Warranty valid you must have your jewelry cleaned and inspected by Bel Viaggio Designs every 6 months. This needs to be documented and performed by Bel Viaggio Designs or our Warranty Servicer. In addition, all recommended repairs must be performed to keep the warranty valid. Having another jeweler perform maintenance, sizing, or repairs on your ring will void your warranty. This includes but is not limited to resizing, speed bumps, sizing balls, cutting, removing stones, resetting stones, tightening prongs, soldering a wedding band to the ring, or altering in any way. We cannot be responsible for any damage or problems arising after another jeweler has performed service. These actions will void your warranty.

Your Bel Viaggio Designs Limited Lifetime Jewelry Warranty is not transferable.

Bel Viaggio Moissanite Limited Lifetime Warranty 

When you purchase Moissanite, by Bel Viaggio, you will receive a Limited Lifetime Warranty card and certificate of authenticity. This includes both colorless, DEF color and near colorless, GH color stones. The warranty covers the Moissanite Gemstone for the lifetime of your ownership. 

 The terms of the Moissanite warranty are as set forth below:

1)Your loose or set Moissanite gemstone, colorless or near colorless, is under warranty after delivery of your purchase. This warranty covers optical changes to your stone. (color change)

2)The warranty is non-transferable.

3)The warranty does not cover loss of your stone, theft, misuse, or neglecting maintenance. Please retain your maintenance receipts for warranty claim approval. We highly recommend insuring your jewelry with your homeowner's insurance, or renter's insurance.

4)You must retain your original receipt of purchase from the original point of sale.
